Self- study English for civil engineers.

These classes are also interesting to anyone who works with technology. To take full advantage of the classes it is recommended that students have a level of English equivalent to B1 according to the The Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEF or CEFR).

  1. Each lesson has a ‘topic’ this is a text, video or audio recording. You should read, listen to, or watch the topic and mark it as complete before you attempt the questions.
  2. Some topics finish with a short task. This task does not affect your score is to give you something to think about before you try the questions. It may be necessary for you to consult a dictionary, book or webpage to complete this task. This will help you really understand the lesson.
  3. In some topics there are words in orange. This is vocabulary of special interest and if you put your mouse on the word you will see a definition, explanation or more information.
